We've got an e-mail from Barffie The Whine-pire Sayer offering tips to protect yourselves when you REALLY REALLY REALLY have thought clearly before net-meeting with a guy from the internet. We found her words very useful especially since they are wise words from experience, so we've posted them up for the benefit of our readers:

Better to be Safe than Sorry

cliche but true

1. Do not meet at some deserted place. Meet at a place as public as possible. Like the Macdonald's in town for example.
If he drives, decline to have him fetch you home. Don't let him know where you live, that's why. Just in case.

2. Bring a girlfriend along if possible.

3. NEVER agree to go to his house! Even if you like him alot, even if he is charming and wonderful and caring and whatever. And plenty of reasons are valid for you to go to his house to check out the VCDs, CDs, whatever... NO NO NO!

4. Don't go clubbing with guys you don't know, or barely know. You'll never know if he'll try to spike your drink, or simply make you drunk.

5. If the guy says he loves you, he likes you alot, wants you to be his GF, showers you with gifts and other things... TOO SOON into the friendship, be very very wary. Go slow and see how sincere he is. Time is your best friend.

6. Use your common sense. Don't let yourself be trapped in a possibly dangerous situation.

7. Ask him out to meet a bunch of your close friends or something. If he's not a shady character, he should be fine meeting up with your friends. Of course there are guys who are shy to meet such a big group of strangers, but it might be a good gauge. All these little tests take time to show accurate results.

8. GO SLOW. Take your time to observe.

9. Learn how to say NO.

10. Bring something to protect yourself.

If any of you need anyone to talk to regarding a problem, you can e-mail us! we will reply you as quick as possible.

WebWhore

who's your daddy mama?

_that sexy devil behind the screen_
A crew of girls setting out to fish out the moral wrongs of internet meetings and what really goes on during the chat.
These men have shamed the name of the male gender.
Regardless of legal or illegal age for the males requesting for sex, it is a downright insult to females to have men asking for sex within 2 mins into an introduction.
Females deserve more respect than being used as a sex toy, satisfying male sexual urges.

We bring to you the uncensored ugliness of the internet chatzone that the media has failed to bring to our attention

Society may be more open today but it does not give anyone the right to assume that females can be treated as commodities that can be bought off the shelf nor that females are stores which men can walk in and out of whenever they fancy.
